This year’s Dallas International Film Festival (DIFF) 2014 kicked off last night (Thursday, April 3, 2014). This year marks the 8th annual DIFF, presented in part by AutoNation and a production of the Dallas Film Society. It is the mission of DIFF to encourage this universal art form by bringing to Dallas quality independent films from around the world and by promoting Dallas’ own local filmmakers on an international stage. This year, the team announced that they are excited to expand the celebration of Latin American cinema—with a total of eight outstanding films in our Latino Showcase—and to strengthen the cultural ties that bind North Texas to its neighbors across the continents.
SMU film student Daniel Tomlinson’s film will screen Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 9:45 p.m. in the Angelika Film Center in Mockingbird Station.
